A break from the Pine Creek pictures. This goes under my photographic love of lines and curves- and of baseball. Miller Park in Milwaukee. Date: 7/12/08
The bridge over Pine Creek near Cedar Run, PA. What makes these bridges so interesting is the angle of the beams compared to the bikeway. That is because the beams are set more parallel to the creek bed. Date: 8/3/08
After the hundreds of shades of green, yellow-gold may be the most common color this time of year along the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Date: August 3, 2008
The west side of Pine Creek nearing its end. The Bald Eagle Mountain is seen in the distance at the "gap" where the Creek enters the Susquehanna. This is where I will be at the end of my 60 miles for age 60 on Monday afternoon. Date: June 10, 2006
This is the north-looking view into the Pine Creek Gorge from the park. There in the unseen distance is the start of the Pine Creek Rail to Trail. Next Sunday I will be there starting my two-day 60 mile ride. Hopefully next Monday's post will be something from down there at the bottom of the gorge. Date: June 9, 2006
No, this isn't part of the Pine Creek trail, but it is Pine Creek just before it enters the West Branch of the Susquehanna near Jersey Shore, PA. In two weeks I will be finishing up the Rolling Toward 60 along the Creek just north of here. Date: Oct. 19, 2003
This is the heart of the city, the center of Spain. It is km 0 the center of the Spanish radial road system. This picture shows a protest in the plaza, but I liked the mix of colors and blurs and water. Date: April 15, 2002
This is the photoBlog of pmPilgrim. I have been taking pictures with all kinds of cameras since I was 8 or 9 years old. I may even scan some of those in and post them, too. That's a lot of years of pictures.
I now have a Nikon D40 digital SLR with Nikon zoom lenses. Most pictures taken after June 15, 2007 will probably be with this camera.
Before that I was using a Casio QV-3000EX since 2002. It still is a remarkable camera for its age and style.
