A Monolithic Mountain

DevilsTower.01
Devil's Tower in Wyoming is an iconic sight. It is also a holy place for many. One can see how it would appear to be something supernatural when traveling across wide open spaces.

Bridge and Mountain

Pine Creek Bridge 1
This old open deck bridge sits near where Pine Creek and the West Branch of the Susquehanna River meet near Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. The Bald Eagle Mountain the background is the northern point of the Appalachian Ridge and Valley section. To the north is the Allegheny Plateau. The wide, fertile valley at this point separates the two.
