Four Months and Counting Down

Four months from today I plan to be on this bridge along the Pine Creek Rail Trail nearing the end of riding 60 miles for my 60th birthday. In fact I will be less than 10 miles from the end at this point.

Bridge and Mountain

This old open deck bridge sits near where Pine Creek and the West Branch of the Susquehanna River meet near Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. The Bald Eagle Mountain the background is the northern point of the Appalachian Ridge and Valley section. To the north is the Allegheny Plateau. The wide, fertile valley at this point separates the two.
