Channel of Water

When the Moors, a desert people, came to Spain they were entranced by the possibility of water being abundant. Here in Segovia one can see some of the ways that water can be channeled in that Moorish tradition. More pictures of this will be seen when I post some from the Alhambra.

Water Trickles and Rocks

Rocks4 Along Pine Creek Trail
A slightly different look at the same Run as I posted on August 20. One of the interesting things about photography is the ability to find different pictures at the same place.

Same Place - 25 years Ago

Shadow of Rails
This picture was taken over 25 years ago at just about the same place as Monday's picture was taken. It is scanned from a slide and you can see the railroad track on the lower right of the picture. (previously posted, June 2007.)

Miller Park from Outside

MillerPark Beyond Center Field Milwaukee
A view of Miller Park in Milwaukee from beyond center field. The lines and curves and the retractable dome make this quite an unusual and photogenic park.
