In this scanned post, the out-of-focus-ness of the original adds to the shimmering quality of the flower itself. It seems surreal, which is what I think of some of those amazing flowers that grow on cacti in a desert, like this one in Arizona. Date: April, 1995
Taken in Arizona, this was scanned from a photo. At first I thought the lines from a fence surrounding the prairie dogs took away from the picture. Now, they add a uniqueness to it that actually made me wonder who was truly fenced in. Date: April, 1995
Four months from today I plan to be on this bridge along the Pine Creek Rail Trail nearing the end of riding 60 miles for my 60th birthday. In fact I will be less than 10 miles from the end at this point. Date: June 9, 2006
This is the photoBlog of pmPilgrim. I have been taking pictures with all kinds of cameras since I was 8 or 9 years old. I may even scan some of those in and post them, too. That's a lot of years of pictures.
I now have a Nikon D40 digital SLR with Nikon zoom lenses. Most pictures taken after June 15, 2007 will probably be with this camera.
Before that I was using a Casio QV-3000EX since 2002. It still is a remarkable camera for its age and style.
